Portraits of the Present, Communities of the Future
In a world in constant transformation, where social, economic, and environmental challenges are intensifying, it is essential to rethink the development model and the role of women in building more just and resilient societies.
Women on the Move is an art exhibition that highlights the stories of women who have undergone personal transformation processes and have driven change in their families and communities through their leadership.
This exhibition invites us to recognize women as protagonists of systemic change. Their leadership and economic empowerment are key to driving innovative and resilient solutions, as well as addressing the root causes of poverty, inequality, violence, and climate change.
For 11 years, we have been working in Paraguay alongside women entrepreneurs, leaders, and producers, supporting their journey toward economic autonomy and strengthening their communities. Through economic, financial, and digital inclusion, we promote full economic citizenship in collaboration with the public and private sectors, civil society, and academia.
“Believing that a world where women and men have equal access to social, economic, and environmental opportunities is possible drives us to constantly rethink our actions and strengthen our commitment as an organization. Recognizing this equity as an attainable goal is not only part of our vision—it also motivates us to keep building initiatives that create lasting impact.” – Laura Morínigo, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Gender at Fundación Capital in Paraguay.
Women on the Move is an invitation to look at the present through their stories and to imagine a future where equity is the path to building stronger and more sustainable communities.
