We began our work in Tanzania in 2016 with initiatives that paved the way for Fundación Capital’s participation in the advisory body for financial inclusion and livelihoods, establishing our role as a potential key player in the implementation of inclusion strategies in the country. 

Our work here focused on developing country-adapted digital solutions for financial and productive inclusion. We completed the development of the financial capabilities app Jijenge and Jifunze Biashara, a livelihoods app for tablets designed to train TASAF beneficiaries living in poverty. The goal is to build life skills, foster entrepreneurship, and support the development of income-generating activities.
