Paraguay

Our Work

We started in Paraguay in 2010 with Proyecto Capital, our first financial inclusion and education initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean. Since then, we have facilitated the integration of financial inclusion into state social programs and policies, collaborating with the financial ecosystem to develop products and services tailored to people's needs.

In 2015, we supported the government in implementing the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (ENIF), with a special focus on vulnerable populations. Today, most conditional cash transfers from social programs are made through basic savings accounts.

We work hand in hand with local communities to drive economic and financial inclusion, as well as climate action. Our latest initiative, CulTI, promotes regenerative agriculture by connecting the power of data and technology with the needs of small-scale producers. We put people and their territories at the center, creating solutions that strengthen economic, financial, social, and digital autonomy — especially for women and their families.
