What We Do

Fundación Capital works to improve the financial lives of people living in poverty around the world, partnering with governments and the private sector to design and deliver solutions that increase economic prospects for millions.

Using targeted strategies to improve the livelihoods of families in extreme poverty, increasing the financial health of women and girls through digital solutions, and creating a more enabling environment through policy advocacy: these are just some of the ways in which Fundación Capital has helped 6 million people in Africa, Asia and Latin America build more sustainable futures for themselves and their families.

Our Focus

At Fundación Capital, we face poverty head-on by promoting the concept of economic citizenship. That means helping families living in poverty make full use of their economic rights, from tailoring bank services to their needs to offering educational tools so they can learn to better manage their finances.

Economic citizens are not passive beneficiaries, but active participants in their communities, empowered to shape their lives and their futures.

We have reached more than 6 million people

In ten years of partnering with governments and the private sector to eliminate poverty, we have helped more than 6 million people across 18 countries build more sustainable futures for themselves and their families.
