What we do

Fundación Capital is an international organization working to expand inclusion, partnering and innovating to help millions of families define their own paths out of poverty.

We collaborate with both public and private partners to develop and implement new approaches that enable low-income families to grow, value and protect their financial assets. We do this through financial inclusion, capacity building and by promoting investment. In this effort, we support millions of families by providing resources in order to fulfill their ambitions and define their own paths out of poverty.

We work to improve and develop public policies that facilitate financial inclusion and social protection on a massive scale.

By facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences among both public and private sectors, we are collaborating with critical players around the world in our fight against poverty.

Most importantly, we must strive to understand the problems and needs of low-income families in order to create long-term and scalable solutions, not for them, but with them.

Inclusion: A people can only lay claim to the full force of their rights when all of their fellow citizens, without exception, are able to participate in the economic, political, and social lives of their countries.

The participation and collaboration of different stakeholders is the key to achieving sustainable solutions.

Poverty is a failure of justice that requires the creation and expansion of policies of inclusion to be resolved.

The diverse views of our team, partners and the families with which we work allow us to better understand the problems that drive us.

The world’s most complex problems require imaginative and innovative answers.

We believe wholeheartedly in the promise of a better world, and are committed to seeing it fulfilled.
